Redel, French, Isaacson named All-Hawkeye 10
RED OAK – Three Tigers were named to the Hawkeye 10 All-Conference softball team, following their 16-14 season.
Senior Jami Redel was named to the first team after finishing with the third-best ERA of any pitcher with 20 or more appearances in the Hawkeye 10. Redel also finished her final season as a Tiger with a batting average of .402, sixth best in the Hawkeye 10 among batters with 100 or more at bats.
Sophomore catcher Gabrielle French was named to the second team, batting .360 in 114 at bats. French finished the season with six home runs, tied with Harlan’s Brooke Schaben for fourth in the conference. Schaben was one of the two Cyclones named to the first team.
Red Oak’s Junior center fielder Paige Isaacson was named to the Honorable Mention team leading the Tigers’ outfielders with a .942 fielding percentage in 49 chances this season.
Lewis Central led the Hawkeye 10 with six players named overall. Three of the Titans were named to the first team.
Next season the Tigers will only lose two seniors from their roster to graduation.
