Rita Martinez, 62, of St. Joseph, Mo., passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Research Hospital in Kansas City.
She was born to Willard and Ethel (Rhoades) Anderson Aug. 16, 1948.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband; two children, Jeff (Ann) Martinez and Heather Martinez, both of St. Joseph; one grandchild; and one brother, Dr. Ron Anderson, of Jackson, Mo.
A Gathering of Remembrance took place Saturday, June 11 at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
