Robert Wayne Bloom, 90, Villisca, died Friday, June 13, 2014.

Robert Wayne Bloom was born June 15, 1923, to Chester Earl and Nellie Jane (Standley) Bloom.

On Feb 10, 1945, Wayne married Geraldine (Geri) Anderson. He was a 4-H leader. He served on the Extension Council, Montgomery County Fair Board and Compensation Board.  

Survivors include two sons, Douglas (Jerrelynn) and Randall (Diana); grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) O’Bryant, Travis (Sarah) Bloom, Kari Bloom (Shawn Cooper) and Kati Hansen; 10 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Wilma Bloom and Elsie Anderson.

Services for Robert Wayne Bloom will be Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Villisca, with burial in the Villisca Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Mt. Calvary Church, Villisca Ambulance Service or Hospice of SWI.
