Rotary Club hosting first daddy/daughter dance

RED OAK — Daddy’s and daughters will have a chance to enjoy a special evening together Feb. 5 at the first Red Oak Rotary Club Daddy/Daughter Dance.
The dance will take place from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Montgomery County Family YMCA, and is open  to all girls in kindergarten through fifth grade.
The concept is a simple one.
“We wanted to come up with an event that parents could share in the experience with their children,” Red Oak Rotary Club member and dance organizer Jodie Smith said.
Smith also stressed if the daddy is unavailable, another adult male can takes his place.

Ticket prices are $15 per couple, and $6 for each additional daughter. As part of the admission price, each girl receives two keepsake photos, and a corsage to wear during the dance. There will also be an opportunity to make frames for the photos, and refreshments will be served.
