Scholarship support for students at the University of Nebraska at Kearney College of Business and Technology set an all-time record, according to Dr. Timothy Burkink, CBT dean.
"Thanks to the generosity of many donors," Dean Burkink said, "the College of Business and Technology was able to award nearly $210,000 in scholarships for the 2012-13 academic year. This is an increase of nearly 20 percent over the prior year and a new record."
Cameron Deter, of Red Oak, cashed in on the record setting scholarship gifts, receiving an Industrial Distribution Program Partners Scholarship of $1,000 and a Juniors Industrial Technology scholarship of $200.
