Here are results from Tuesday night's games around the area.

Boys Basketball: Red Oak 63, Shenandoah 52

The difference in the game was the third quarter, when the Tigers scored 22 points, 20 of them courtesy of Andy Vial and Pete Walker, to take over the lead from Shenandoah.

Walker finished the game as Red Oak's leading scorer with 19 points. Vial scored 16 in the win over the Mustangs.

With the win, Red Oak completes the regular season sweep of Shenandoah. The Tigers will be on the road Friday night to play Creston.

Girls Basketball: Red Oak 57, Shenandoah 44

Red Oak won the game in the second quarter when they posted 20 points to take an 11-point lead at halftime. The Tigers were able to hold on and avenge their loss from December.

Kate Walker led the way with 21 points in the win against Shenandoah. Gabi French also had double-digit points, finishing with 11.

Red Oak will be back in action Friday night when they host the Creston Panthers.

Girls Basketball: Villisca 43, Stanton 40

The Blue Jays take the regular season series against Villisca, thanks to their win Tuesday night.

Amanda Focht had a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 15 rebounds, while Morganne Haer scored a game high 15 points for Villisca.

Rachel Sorensen led the Viqueens with 13 points.

Boys Basketball: Villisca 28, Stanton 21

Travis Herzberg and Damon Sunderman combined to score 24 of Villisca's 28 points in their win over the Vikings. Herzberg had 13, while Sunderman scored 11.

The two teams split the regular season series. There is the possibility that both teams could face each other once more, but it would have to take place in the District Final.

Both Stanton teams are home Friday night to play Essex. Villisca will be on the road to play Sidney.

Girls Basketball: Griswold 35, Riverside 33

Brooke Hansen scored 11 points to give the Tigers their fourth win of the season. Griswold was able to hold off a late rally by Riverside. Jordyn Sindt finished with 10 points.
