Scoreboard: Red Oak, Stanton and Essex win

Red Oak 3, Glenwood 0

The Red Oak Tigers are 3-0 now after sweeping the Glenwood Rams in Glenwood, Tuesday night.

Red Oak won the match 25-16, 29-27 and 25-23. Gabi French led the Tigers with 11 kills for the match

Red Oak will be in action this Saturday when they compete in Griswold's Tournament.

Stanton 3, East Mills 1

The Stanton Viqueens survived a first game loss to go on and win their sixth match of the season.

Stanton lost the first game, 25-19 after falling behind by as much as eight points.

The Viqueens won games two and threee 25-8 and 25-13, to take a 2-1 lead. Stanton won the fourth game, 25-16.

The Viqueens will be back in action Thursday night as they head to Clarinda to take on Clarinda Academy.

Essex 3, Fremont-Mills 2

The Essex Trojannettes came from two games down to beat the Fremont-Mills Knights in Essex Tuesday night.

Fremont-Mills took the first two games 25-19 and 25-20. Essex kept the match going by winning the third game 25-16, then taking game four 25-22.

The Trojannettes had an 11-4 lead in the fifth game, but the Knights came back. Essex did win the game 16-14.

Haley Fundermann led Essex with 11 kills.

The Trojannettes won't be in action again until next Tuesday when they face Clarinda Academy.
