Sports Calendar: June 16

The summer sports season continues on for this Tuesday. The best news for this Tuesday is that there is no rain in the forecast. There will be lots of sunshine with temperatures around 80.

Both the Red Oak baseball and softball teams will be in action for Tuesday evening. They travel south to take on Shenandoah as part of a JV/varsity doubleheader starting at 5:30 p.m. at Sportsman Park.

In Corner Conference action, East Mills will be home as they host Fremont-Mills. The softball varsity game will start first at 5:30 p.m.

The Stanton Vikings baseball team will make up its JV/varsity doubleheader as they travel to Sidney to take on the Cowboys. The doubleheader starts first with JV at 6 p.m.

Southwest Valley hits the road in Pride of Iowa action when they take part in a JV/varsity doubleheader in both softball and baseball as they face Bedford. The JV teams play first at 6 p.m.

Griswold's softball team will go on the road Tuesday evening as they head to Irwin for a JV/varsity doubleheader against IKM-Manning. The doubleheader starts at 6 p.m.
