Sports Calendar: June 17

With temperatures expected to reach the 90s today, the summer portion of the sports season continues for Tuesday.

The big games will be taking place in Red Oak as both softball and baseball are home for JV/varsity doubleheaders. Softball will be at the Sports Complex, while baseball is back at Legion Park as both take on Shenandoah.

The action starts at 5:30 p.m. with baseball JV and baseball starts afterward.

UPDATE: The softball game between Red Oak and Shenandoah starts at 5:30 p.m. with varsity. JV will follow afterward.

In Corner Conference action, East Mills will be on the road as they face off against Fremont-Mills in a softball/baseball varsity doubleheader. Fremont-Mills won both games in the first meetings May 29. The action is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.

Elsewhere, Southwest Valley will be home when they face Bedford as part of a varsity softball/baseball doubleheader. First game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.
