Basketball Doubleheader: Red Oak vs. Glenwood @ Glenwood High School- 6 p.m.

Girls

The Red Oak girls face a tough task Thursday night when they play the No. 7-ranked (as of Dec. 8 rankings) Glenwood Rams.

Red Oak is coming off of a 42-40 loss to Shenandoah Saturday night. A win over Glenwood would bring them back to the .500 mark.

The Rams are 5-0 to start the season. Last Friday, they blew out the Panthers, 75-45, in Creston.

Morgan Lucy is the player to watch for Glenwood. Lucy is the team's leading scorer, averaging 15.2 points per game.

The Tigers will be on the road again Friday night as they play the Lewis Central Titans.

Boys

The Red Oak boys team also looks to get back to a .500 record as they face a Glenwood team that has lost three straight games.

Red Oak is coming off a big 67-31 win over rival Shenandoah last Saturday.

Glenwood lost last Friday to Creston, 61-54, in Creston. The Rams look to stop their skid before playing Kuemper Catholic in Carroll Friday night.

Red Oak will be home Friday night to play Lewis Central.
