IGCA releases all-state, all-district volleyball

The Red Oak volleyball team had two players listed on the Class 3A west all-district volleyball team per information released by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association last week. 

Lexi Johnson and Liz Carbaugh, both seniors at Red Oak High School earned the honors.

In Class 1A, five area athletes were named to the southwest all-district: Anna Kelley, Griswold senior; Emiliy Williams, East Mills junior; Jenna Stephens, Stanton junior; Marleigh Johnson, Stanton junior; and Miah Urban, East Mills junior.

Two of those girls were honored on the all-state teams in their respective classes.

In Class 3A, Red Oak’s L. Johnson was named on the second team.

In Class 1A, East Mills’ Williams earned honorable meniton.
