Tigers set record on way to regional finals

The Red Oak girls golf team delivered a standout performance in the Class 2A Region 1A tournament, posting a new team personal best score of 359 to earn their well-deserved spot in the regional finals.
The Tigers will be joined by Shenandoah (374) and Treynor (381) in the next round.
Individually, the Tigers were led by senior Brynn Knaus, who claimed medalist honors with a sensational new personal best round of 77, earning an individual qualifying spot. Senior Addey Lydon also secured an individual qualifying spot with a strong round of 92.
Rounding out the impressive team effort were junior Emily Sebeniecher (95), senior Riley Burke shooting a personal best (95), junior Ellison Johnson (101), and junior Nellie Blaine (103).
The Lady Tigers will now set their sights on the state tournament as they compete in the regional finals Wednesday at Willow Vale Golf Club in Mapleton.

Knaus runner-up, Tigers third at H-10 golf meet
