Stanton Elementary Spelling Bee winners announced
Students in first through sixth grades in Stanton competed in the school Spelling Bee during the last week of May.
Several winners emerged from the competition, including:
Braydon Bissell, Tory Carrick and Cameron Sallach from the first grade. They each moved up to compete with the second graders.
Emma McClain won first place in the first and second grade division, with Colby Royal winning second.
Savanna Clark-Moffett won the third and fourth grade competition. Shelby Brockshus is runner-up.
Conner Hultman won first and Camden Sundberg came in second for the fifth and sixth grade division.
The winning students will have their names submitted for competition at the Iowa State Fair to take place on August 12.
