Strong storm causes flooding

A massive spring thunderstorm responsible for dozens of tornadoes nationwide caused damage to several area homes Saturday after high winds and heavy rains.
According to the National Weather Service, 5.65 inches of rain fell at the Red Oak airport Saturday.
Coming in three waves, the storm’s heavy rains caused extensive flash flooding throughout the county.
