SWCC offers Coach Class

Southwestern Community College’s adult and continuing education department is offering coaching authorization from Aug. 16-Oct. 25, at Southwestern’s Red Oak Center. The course will meet  Thursdays, from 5-10 p.m.

The course will be instructed by Noel Bogdanski. Instruction for the course will include coaching theory, anatomy and physiology, physical development, and care and prevention of athletic injuries.

Course participants are required to attend all sessions to be considered for the certificate of completion, which is necessary to make application to the State of Iowa for coaching authorization.  

The cost of the course is $440. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required by Aug. 14.
