Taylor and Myers

Lauren Taylor and Joel Myers, both of Austin, Texas, are pleased to announce their recent wedding March 24. The ceremony and reception took place at the Hummingbird House in Manchesca, Texas, beginning at 6:30 p.m., with Eric Kleiber, of Quinlan, Texas, officiating. The bride was given away by her father, Marty Taylor, and brother, Daniel Taylor. The wedding was preceeded by a rehearsal dinner cruise on Lake Austin on March 23, courtesy of the grooms parents, Allan and Jane Meyers, of Red Oak. The bride is the daughter of Lori and Danny Honeycutt and Marty Taylor, all of Emery, Texas.

The maid of honor was Rachel Taylor, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashlee Toth and Lauren Mays, friends of the bride, and Kelsey Myers, sister of the groom. The flower girl was Grace Jeffords, daughter of Stephanie Artzer Jeffords and goddaughter of the groom. The best man was Zack Myers, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Phil Pratt, Andrew Woods and Jake Norris, friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Tyler Taylor, nephew of the bride.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Emery High School, while the groom is a 2006 graduate of Red Oak High School. Both are four year veterans of the United States Army. Currently, the bride is attending The Art Institute of Austin studying Interior Design and the groom is attending Virginia College studying Surgery Technology.

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and will continue to live in Austin.
