Teens face weapons charges

Two teenagers were arrested and charged with felonies by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department last Thursday, June 1.
According to a press release, at about 1:43 a.m., following an incident in the 100 block of East 4th Street in Villisca, the sheriff’s office arrested Wyatt Dean Baldwin, 18, of Villisca, and an unnamed 17-year-old male, and charged them with trafficking in stolen weapons.
A press release said Baldwin was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and held in lieu of $5,000 bond. The juvenile was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Council Bluffs.
