Terry L. Shaver, 44

Terry L. Shaver, 44, of Red Oak, died Oct. 23, 2009, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

Terry Lee Shaver was born April 12, 1965, in Red Oak, the son of Richard “Dick” and Bonnie “Juanita” (Helton) Shaver and the twin brother of Jerry Shaver. Terry lived most of his life in Red Oak, where at one time he worked for the City of Red Oak in the Cemetery Department. He married Brenda Hunt on Oct. 5, 2000, in Clarinda.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Bonnie “Juanita” Shaver.

Survivors include his wife: Brenda Shaver of Red Oak, Iowa; step-son: Donnie Patterson and Brandy Edwards of Red Oak; father: Dick Shaver of Red Oak; sisters and brothers: Chris (Mike) Norris of Red Oak; Rick (Jody) Shaver of Hepburn; Patsy Williams; Tammy Cerven; Jerry (Judy) Shaver; Tim Shaver; Wendi (Rob) Latus; and Brian Shaver all of Red Oak; mother-in-law: Betty Hunt of Red Oak; sister-in-law: Nancy Lucky of Red Oak.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Warder officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
