Tiger bowlers win in dual with Falcons; look to finish strong

COUNCIL BLUFFS – The Tigers' bowling teams swept St. Albert (Council Bluffs) on the road, preparing for their final two regular season competitions.

The boys had one of their season's top performances beating the Falcons 2,895-2,614.

Taylor Mellott and Dylan Berry each had 200-plus individual games as Mellott scored a 235 in his first and Berry scored 214 and 201 in his games.

The boys scored 211, 236, and 203 in three of their five Baker games, on their way to another win.

Brianna Nowels and Jayden Hilding led the girls on their way to a 2,407-1,747 blowout over St. Albert.

Nowels scored 217 and 178 in her two individual games. Hilding rolled a 189 in her first game followed by a 151 in the second.

The Tiger girls topped out at 224 in the third game of the Baker round to put the Falcons away before their 190-pin score in the fourth game.
