Topham competes at Kansas

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Griswold track athlete Rebekah Topham competed at the Kansas Relays at the University of Kansas in Lawrence during the weekend.
Topham competed in four meets during the relay.
Her best finish during the meet was in the 1,600-meter race, when
Topham took second with a time of 4:53.37, less than three seconds behind Alli Cash of Shawnee Mission West High School in Kansas.
In the 800-meter run, Topham, a freshman, finished in fifth with a time of 2:16.50.
In the 3,200-meter race, Topham finished fifth with a time of 11:03.82.
Topham also competed in the 300-meter hurdles, finishing 16th with a time of 47.81 seconds.
Topham will be competing at the Drake Relays later this week, as one of the representatives for Griswold.
