Tractor, farm machinery safety course offered

Cass and Montgomery County Extension are offering a Tractor and Farm Machinery Safety Course for 13, 14, and 15 year olds.
This training is required by law for those 14 and 15 year olds who want to work on a farm, acreage, or related business that uses farm equipment for anybody other than their parents.
It will be held at the Cass County Extension Office on June 2, 3, 7, and 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There is a requirement of 24 hours of class and driving time to receive the Iowa Certificate.
There is a $30 fee per student, due on the first day of class. Please pre-register by May 27 by calling the Cass County Extension Office at 712-243-1132.
