UPDATE: Weather Watch: Storms possible for Tuesday
5 p.m. UPDATE: Montgomery, Cass and Page Counties are all under a tornado watch until 11 p.m.
OMAHA — A chance of thunderstorms is in the forecast for the area Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
For Tuesday afternoon, there's a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The afternoon high is expected to be in the upper 70s.
For Tuesday night, there's a chance of showers and thunderstorm, before 1 a.m. The low will be in the lower 60s. NWS predicts there's a 60 percent chance of precipitation.
Wednesday will be clear and sunny with a high in the 80s.
Flash flood watches are in effect in counties to the North and East of Montgomery County.
A flash flood watch is in effect for Cass County, which includes Griswold, through Wednesday morning. The flash flood watch is also in effect for Adams County, which includes the towns of Corning and Carbon.
As of 1 p.m., Montgomery County isn't under any type of watch or warning.
