Vivian A. Fulton, 90
Vivian A. Fulton, 90, of Nodaway, died on May 12, 2009, at Good Samaritan Care Center, Villisca.
Vivian Arlene Fulton was born Dec. 10, 1918, in Page County, the daughter of William Delford Orme and Hettie Jane (Van Alstine) Orme. On Feb. 25, 1939, she was united in marriage to Hal Henry Fulton at the Corning Methodist parsonage. They were blessed with three sons, Lee, Darrel and Dale.
Arlene was a member of the North Grove Methodist Church and Ladies Aid.
Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Dale Fulton; brothers, Marvin, Bus, Homer, Clifford; sisters, Mae, Thelma and Amy.
Arlene is survived by her husband of seventy years, Hal Fulton of Villisca; sons, Lee (Shari) Fulton of Nodaway, Darrel (Cathi) Fulton of Villisca; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Donnie) Miller of Clarinda; brother, Charlie (Shirley) Orme of Clarinda; and sister-in-law, Norma Orme of Northboro.
Funeral services were held on May 16 at the United Methodist Church, Villisca, with Pastor Gordon Scott officiating. Open visitation was held on May 15 at the Ritchie Funeral Home, Clarinda. Burial was in the Villisca Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Villisca Pool Restoration Fund or to the Hospice of Southwest Iowa, Corning.
