Wallace Foundation hosting 23rd annual meeting March 4
The public is invited to attend the 23rd annual meeting of the Wallace Foundation for Rural Research and Development scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at the Learning Center located at the Armstrong Research Farm near Lewis.
This year’s program will begin at 9:30 a.m. with Aaron Saeugling, ISU Extension Program Specialist/Crops and Jim Rogers, ISU Research Farm, hosting a panel of 2013 FARM participants; followed by Mark Hanna, ISU extension agricultural engineer, talking about the Farm Energy Project, 2011-2012.
Following a complimentary lunch, the annual business meeting will be conducted.
The Armstrong Research Farm is located 12 miles southwest of Atlantic on Hwy. 6, half a mile south on 525th St., and a half mile east on Hitchcock Ave.; or, 13 miles east of Oakland on Hwy. 6, half a mile south on 525th St., and half a mile east on Hitchcock Ave.
