Weather Watch: Wind Advisory for Friday

OMAHA — The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind advisory for Montgomery, Page and Mills County, effective 11 a.m. Friday.

Winds are expected to increase throughout the day, sustaining out of the southeast at 25-35 miles per hour, with gusts of up to 45, NWS predicts.

Those traveling on East/Westbound roads will be impacted, so NWS recommends to use extra caution when driving.

The advisory will expire at 8 p.m. Friday.

Despite the winds, temperatures are expected to reach a high of 75 for the afternoon.

As of 9 a.m., the temperature was 54.
