Wilson Gala Event planned for Aug. 23

 The 2014-2015 season of the Wilson Performing Arts Center kicks off with their annual Fundraising Gala at the Red Coach Inn Saturday Aug. 23.

Dinner will begin at 7 with a 7:30 performance called “It’s Vegas Baby!”

Joey Libido and his lovely ex-wife, Sugar, were Las Vegas headliners in the 1970s. Of course, the place they headlined wasn’t The Sands, it was The Sandbox. Still, Joey, a self-proclaimed ladies’ man, knows how to croon. He and Sugar will charm you away with their Vegas-style patter and top hits from the past decades.

You haven’t laughed so hard in ages!

Tickets are $35 for dinner and the show and reservations can be made by calling the Wilson Performing Arts Center at 623-3183.

This will be a great evening of fun and entertainment sponsored by the Red Coach Inn and Restaurant.
