Accidents

• On April 28 at 9:07 a.m., officers of the Red Oak Police Department were called to a two-vehicle accident without injuries. Upon arrival and investigation, officers found that a 2004 Chevy Cavalier driven by Robert Wilkinson, 69, Emerson, was traveling east on E. Maple St. and failed to obey the yield sign. Wilkinson then struck a 2002 Dodge Intrepid driven by Elisabeth Houtchens, 65, Emerson, which was traveling north on N. 4th St. Wilkinson, struck the Intrepid in the left rear tire and quarter panel. Estimated damage to the Cavalier is $2,600 and estimated damage to the Intrepid is $700.
