The abortion debate continues

I didn’t know the Planned Parenthood Clinic in Red Oak did chemical abortion until Sue Thayer’s letter two weeks ago in the Express.  I did some research at www.lifenews.com  to find out what a chemical abortion is.

Step one is a pill that works by blocking the hormone progesterone.  Without progesterone, the lining of the uterus breaks down, and the fetus dies.  The abortion pill can be used up to 49 days after conception.

The second step is the drug Misoprostol to be taken at home.  This drug causes the uterus to empty.  After taking the second drug, the woman is home alone when she goes into labor and expels a dead child from her body.  The web site tells of several complications that can occur, some are: strong cramps, vomiting, diarrhea.

They may also experience uterine hemorrhaging, viral infection, vaginitis, septic shock and even death.  
My question is why does Iowa allow this procedure?  Other states have outlawed it.

“If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and, and will heal their land,” 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV. God is in control.
