Gloria K. Kinser, 70

Gloria K. Kinser, 70, of Red Oak, died Aug. 16 at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital.

Gloria Kay Kinser, the daughter of Ivan E. and Jeanette (Bartlett) Briggs, was born Dec. 19, 1938 in Red Oak.

Gloria lived all her life in Red Oak. She was a Red Oak High School graduate. On Oct. 20, 1953, Gloria married Kenneth W. Kinser in Red Oak.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; son: Nick Kinser; grandson: Travis Shearer; two brothers and their spouses: Howard and Marybell Briggs; Eugene and Phyllis Briggs; sister-in-law: Kathy Briggs; and brother-in-law: Bill Vanderhoof.

Gloria is survived by her husband: Kenneth W. Kinser of Red Oak; daughter: Lori (Lon) Lathrop of Red Oak; grandson: Tyler Shearer of Omaha, Neb.; two step-grandchildren; sister: Carolyn Vanderhoof of Red Oak; brother: Arthur “Bud” Briggs of Red Oak; brothers-in-law: Leonard (Sharon) Kinser of Omaha, Neb.; Michael Kinser of Kansas City, Kan.; sisters-in-law: Deloris Brown of Corning; and Joan Eyestone of Omaha, Neb.

Funeral Service will be held Aug. 19 at 11 a.m. at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak with Rev. Arlan Hoskins with officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Church of the Nazarene.
