Griswold golfers host Heartland Christian, Boyer Valley

The Griswold boys and girls competed in a co-ed non-conference golf triangular at the Griswold Golf Course last Tuesday.
With high winds and frigid temperatures, the Tiger boys carded a 235 to finish second to Boyer Valley’s 171. Heartland Christian shot a 255.
Brayden Lockwood carded a 47 for Griswold. Calden Turner added a 60 and Nollan Smith and Collen Taylor 64s to complete Griswold’s scoring.
Boyer Valley’s Camden Block shot a 39 to win top medalist honors.
In the girls match, Griswold shot a 261 to win its match. Heartland Christian’s girls did not post a team score.
Kate Tischer shot a 60 to lead the Tiger girls. Abby Henderson added a 65, Zoey Baker a 67 and Miley Kelly a 69.
Ella Osborne carded a 75 to pace Heartland Christian.
