SW Valley girls win triangular

Southwest Valley shot a team round of 173 to top Hamburg, Essex and Bedford in a non-conference boys golf quadrangular last Tuesday.
Hamburg carded a 196, Bedford a 206 and Essex a 303.
Hamburg’s Keith Thompson shot a 36 to win top medalist honors.
The Timberwolves’ Casey Jones shot a 39 to win runner-up honors.
 Kaden Greenwalt added 41, Cameron Becker a 43, Brody Sparks a 50, Ethan Johnston a 51 and Jake Brandt a 51 for Southwest Valley.
On the girls side, Southwest Valley shot a 216 to top Hamburg and Bedford, who did not post team scores.
 The Timberwolves’ Kenzie Fast shot a 50 to win top medalist honors and teammate Kaya Owen was the runner-up with a 51.
Sidney Crill carded a 57, Natalie Grizzard a 58, Nora Barnes a 70 and Josie Harris a 74 to round out Southwest Valley’s scoring.
