Timberwolves 13th at Clarinda tourney
The Southwest Valley girls wrestling team placed 13th at the Clarinda Girls Wrestling Tournament Saturday in Clarinda.
Creston was the team champion with 172 points. The host Cardinals were second with 158 points. The Timberwolves finished with 54 points.
Deklyn Mullen led Southwest Valley with a third-place finish at 115-pounds. Mullen pinned Centerville’s Ava Allen to secure her medal.
