Jennifer Vanderholm and Steve Jensen

Jennifer Vanderholm and Steve Jensen were united in marriage by the Rev. Jerry Lamb on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Fremont-Nyman Lutheran Church in Nyman. A reception followed at the Wenstrand Family Farm.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Sharon Vanderholm of Omaha and the granddaughter of Irene Peterson and the late Doyle Peterson and the late Raymond and Louise Vanderholm of Red Oak. The groom is the son of Ellis and Gloria Jensen of Omaha and the grandson of Jim and the late Eleanor Wenstrand of Essex and Virginia and the late Fred Jensen of Omaha.

The matron of honor was Jessica Staben, friend of the bride. The best man was Brett Taylor, friend of the groom. The flower girls were Megan, Sarah, Gretchen, Addison and Molly Jensen, nieces of the groom and Lauren and Annabel Vanderholm, nieces of the bride.

The bride and groom both graduated from Millard West High School in Omaha. The bride graduated from Texas Christian University and is employed at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The groom graduated from University of Northern Iowa and is employed at Omaha Public Power District.

The couple has made their home in Gretna, Neb.
