Kasubick paces Tigers at Shen boys track meet

The Red Oak boys track team competed at the Mustang Relays in Shenandoah last Tuesday, April 14.

            Josh Kasubick was the top performer for the Tigers, claiming first place in the 400-meter dash and second place in the 200-meter dash. Jackson Miller was the runner-up in the shot put competition.

            Austin Jones captured third place in the 400-meter hurdles, while Caleb Flowers landed fourth in the 800 meters.

            Jones was fifth in the discus, as was Jake Payne in the 100-meter dash and the Tigers’ 4x100-meter relay team.

            Josh Nix landed sixth place in the shot put. The Tigers’ 4x400 and shuttle hurdle relay teams also finished in sixth place.

            Glenwood was the overall winner of the meet, scoring 145 team points. The Tigers tallied 37 points.
