Mallory Wookey, 10, raises over $200 for Toys for Tots

Mallory Wookey, 10, of Stanton, raised over $200 to buy gifts for other children whose family’s situations might need some extra help this year.

 Since November, Mallory has baked pies, painted fingernails, raked leaves and offered to do a few other odd jobs to earn money for last week’s shopping trip. She added her purchases to the Toys for Tots boxes at Fareway in Red Oak, hoping she had bought just the things that would bring smiles to several boys and girls on Christmas morning. Mallory is the daughter of Jake and Mindy Wookey of Stanton.
