Modern Woodmen announces new youth club
A new Modern Woodmen of America Youth Service Club is starting in Red Oak. The club will have its first activity on March 29 at 2 p.m. at the NMSG Building, 2010 Commerce Drive, Red Oak. Children between the ages of seven and eleven are invited to the activity to find out about the benefits of membership.
Crystal Berkey, Red Oak, will lead the club, and Jill L. McManis, Red Oak, a local Modern Woodmen representative, will sponsor the club’s monthly activities.
“Since 1942 Modern Woodmen Youth Service Clubs have focused on volunteering, patriotism, education and fun. Currently 750 clubs across the country serve thousands of children,” says McManis.
“As a fraternal life insurer, our core values tie to helping children, their families and their communities. And that’s why we’re proud to sponsor positive activities for our members,” McManis adds.
