Raymond W. Blay, 78

Raymond W. Blay, 78, of Red Oak, passed away Oct. 25, 2010, at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Neb.  
Raymond Wayne Blay was born Aug. 28, 1932, in Atlantic, the son of William and Ethel Blay. He married Carolyn Holm on Feb. 12, 1966 in Ralston, Neb.  
Survivors include his wife:  Carolyn Blay of Red Oak; children:  Bruce Blay of Elliott; Bob Blay of Red Oak; Kim Blay of Carson; and Lisha Wingfield of Red Oak; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers:  Robert Blay of Villisca; Billy Blay of Arbenden, Ark.; Frank Blay of Twin Falls, Idaho; and Larry Blay of Red Oak; sisters:  Ruby Houtchens of Red Oak, and Janie Elwood of Red Oak.
Funeral services were held Oct. 29 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel with Rev. Len Taylor officiating. Cremation will take place after the services and burial will be held at a later date at the Evergreen Cemetery.
