Larry Edie, 71

Larry C. Edie, 71, Red Oak, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital.

Larry Carl Edie, the son of Carl Winfield and Dorothy Mae (Carnes) Edie was born April 25, 1942 in Tabor.

Larry married Venita Anderson June 29, 1963, in Stanton.

Larry is survived by his wife, Venita Edie of Red Oak; daughters, Jennifer Elarton of Red Oak and Melissa Ringgenberg; a son, Kelly Edie of Red Oak; and sisters, Carla Rydberg of Essex and Sandy Hansen of Shenandoah.

A celebration of life gathering will be Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, from 2-5 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, Red Oak.

Burial of created remains will be in the Mamre Cemetery, Stanton.

Memorials may be directed to Montgomery County Relay for Life, Red Oak Fire and Rescue Association or Stanton Class 1960 Scholarship Fund.
