Gail Knapp, 76, Red Oak, passed away on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society, Red Oak.
Gail Knapp, the daughter of Bernard and Marjorie (McCoy) Gillette, was born July 8, 1949, in Clarinda.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom; daughter, Stacy Wiater; and one grandson.
Gail is survived by her children, Scooter Sharp, Jr. of Clayton, N.C., Jeff Knapp of Nodaway, Thomas Knapp, Jr. of North Carolina, and Jody Knapp of Villisca; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren with another due in July,.
Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Viking Lodge (formerly the restaurant) at Viking Lake State Park, Stanton, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home is assisting the family.
