Larry Eggeling, 71

Larry Edward Eggeling, 71, Red Oak, passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital.  
Larry was born Aug. 15, 1955, in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of Alvin and Florence (Kemp) Eggeling.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and step-son, Rick Borem.  
Survivors include his children, Adam Eggeling of Denison, and Donnita Kent of Council Bluffs; wife, Carol Eggeling of Red Oak; step-children, Ryan Borem of Ohio; Ray Borem of Red Oak; Robin Grove of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Ron Borem of Illinois; 19 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, at the LeRette Funeral Chapel.  In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital Foundation for use in the oncology department.
