Louis Manly, 96

Louis Frank Manly, 96, son of Lawrence Beatty Manly and Eva Lovetta Milner Manly, was born Sept. 2, 1929 in Red Oak.
He passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
Louis was preceded in death by his dad, Lawrence; mom, Eva; and two grandsons.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Mertes of York, Penn., step-daughter, Maria Lund of Corning, step-son, Nick Keefe of Corning and step-daughter, Joni Birdsall of Corning, four grandsons, four granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Corning. EveryStep Hospice Chaplain Terry Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the US Marine Corps Honor Guard and the Williamson Legion Post #719. Memorials may be directed to the Corning Opera House.
