Red Oak Elementary students host Spring Art Show

The students at Inman Primary School and Washington Intermediate have been hard at work and enjoying every minute of their work on art projects with this year’s new Elementary Art Teacher Teresa Euken.

To celebrate and show off what the students have learned and created this year, Euken has decided to host the First Annual Elementary Art Shows.

Washington Intermediate’s daily showings will take place the week of April 10 with an Art Expo scheduled for Thursday, April 12, until 8 p.m.

Inman Primary School will host their show the week of April 23 with daily showings. Their Art Expo is Friday, April 27, until 8 p.m.

Projects such as self portraits, pastels, weavings and paintings will be shown along with giant murals created using bottle caps and lids donated to the school from area organizations, parents and community members in Red Oak.

Red Oak is full of fine young artists and family and friends are all invited to come and see their creations. Viewers are welcome to take pictures at the showings to continue showing off the students work.

Anyone interested in helping set up or take down the shows or helping with various other tasks can contact Teresa Euken to volunteer.
