Scholarship deadline

The Montgomery County Community Foundation Board, working in partnership with the Red Oak Heritage Foundation announced the deadline for submitting applications for the LaDonna Focht Endowed Scholarship Fund and the Verna “Gwen” Lary Endowed Education Scholarship Fund is March 31.
The LaDonna Focht Endowed Scholarship will award three scholarships to students from the Stanton High School, the Red Oak High School, and the Villisca High School.
The Verna “Gwen” Lary Endowed Education Scholarship Fund provides one scholarship to a qualifying college junior or senior.
They must have graduated from any Montgomery County school district, currently enrolled in college and have a declared major in education.
Those interested in seeking the scholarships need to complete an application available from a high school guidance counselor or online at www.omahafoundation.org.
