Shelley R. Marshall, 38, died Sept. 27, 2009, at her home in Shenandoah.

Shelley Renee Marshall was born Dec. 12, 1970, in Davenport, the daughter of Robert Dale and Karen Kay (Ketcham) Wright. Shelley grew up in the Bettendorf area until she was six when her family moved to Shenandoah. She attended school in Shenandoah and graduated with the class of 1989. She later attended Iowa Western Community College and obtained her LPN degree. She worked as a surgical tech at the Shenandoah Medical Center. She was an active member of the Norwich United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Darrel Ketcham and George and Jessie Wright.

Survivors include her parents, Robert and Karen Wright of Shenandoah; brother, Scott (Lara) Wright of Ankeny; sister, Kristine (Chris) Stanley of Shenandoah; and grandmother, Kathryn Ketcham of Shenandoah.

Graveside services were held Oct. 3 at the Rose Hill Cemetery at Shenandoah with Rev. Carl Phillips officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
