Stanton Elementary to present musicals Friday, April 20
The Stanton Elementary music students grades K-6 are preparing for their spring musicals under the direction of Marla Nelson.
The musicals are to be presented to the public Friday, April 20, in the High School Gym, at 7:30 p.m.
The K-3 grades will perform “Circus, Circus!” by John Jacobson and John Higgins. The circus is in town and there’s excitement in the air. But wait, the Ringmaster has lost his voice and they need to find a substitute fast. Join the clowns, elephants, dancing bears, lions and a host of other circus performers as they help find the Ringmaster’s voice.
The 4-6 graders will present “Get in the Game,” by MacHuff and John Jacabson. It’s a sports musical that suggests there is more than one way to fulfill the P.E. requirements we’ve all faced. This musical challenges everyone to find the ‘champion’ within yourself and be proud of who you are.
