Stanton students participate in Quiz Bowl

STANTON - Twelve Stanton elementary students recently participated in the Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl on May 6. The computer-based quiz covered subjects ranging from spelling, history, and math to current events, sports and literature. Every question had multiple choice answers and they received more points if they answered quickly.
They scored 989 points by correctly answering 87% of the 100 questions on either the first or second try.
Students participating were: fifth grade – Libby Ernst, Ally Focht, Brandy Morrison, Chloe Smith, Rylee Walter, and Chelsea Weis; sixth grade – Tarra Clark, Paige Fiscus, Jacob Lindgren, Megan McCall, Garrett Resh and Peter Sorensen.
