Thanksgiving events in Villisca, Nov. 25 & 28

The 18th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at the Villisca Community Center on Nov. 25 beginning at 11:30 a.m. There is no charge for this meal, but donations will be accepted. Everyone is welcome to come, bring your family and guests, and enjoy a great meal and good times with the Advent Christian Church.
On Nov. 28, at 5 p.m., there will be a program of Christmas carols, hot chocolate and cookies at the Rialto Theater, sponsored by the Advent Christian Church.
There is no admission charge, just come and help kick off the Christmas season in Villisca. Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus are expected during the evening program. Everyone welcome.
