Villisca falls to Fremont-Mills

VILLISCA — The Villisca Blue Jays baseball team lost on Friday to the Fremont-Mills, 23-3.

Villisca’s loss on Friday came after they had won on Thursday against the Stanton Vikings, 15-5

The Blue Jays also defeated Essex/South Page on Tuesday, 11-4.

The Blue Jays scored eight runs in the first three innings and had 11 hits in the game compared to Essex/South Page’s six.

Villisca traveled to Bedford Monday night to take on the Bulldogs. Results weren’t available as of press time.

The Blue Jays are on the road again Tuesday to face the Nishnabotna Warriors.

Villisca has a road game in Sidney Thursday and will be home to face East Mills on Friday.
