Lutfisk Supper, slated for Nov. 20

The Stanton Historical Society will host its 16th annual Lutfisk Supper on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 5-7 p.m. The feast begins with appetizers at the Swedish Heritage Center, 410 Hilltop Ave. in Stanton. There will be Swedish meatballs, herring, cheese, crisp bread, lingonberry jam, and “glogg” (Swedish spiced punch).
From there, diners proceed the the Stanton Senior Center, 325 Broad Ave.
Cost of the meal is $10. Tickets are available at the Swedish Heritage and Cultural Center in Stanton, 829-2840, the REC building in Stanton, 829-2211, or at Pioneer Mutual Insurance in Red Oak, 623-3754. Reservations are recommended.
